Beloved brothers and sisters in Christ!
On behalf of our entire parish and myself, I express my heartfelt gratitude to His Eminence Archbishop Daniel for his archpastoral visit and for leading the festive Divine Liturgy in honor of the Feast of St. Nicholas, our parish’s patron saint.
Sincere thanks to all the clergy who joined in the communal prayer, as well as to everyone whose work and dedication contributed to preparing our holy church for this celebration.
Special gratitude goes to the choir for their singing, which adorned the Divine Liturgy and filled our hearts with spiritual joy. Your effort and talent are an integral part of our worship.
We deeply appreciate the director and children of our Sunday school for their wonderful performance and valuable contribution to the festive program.
A separate word of thanks is extended to our brotherhood, which lovingly and enthusiastically organized the preparation of meals in the field kitchen and over an open fire. Your work was an essential part of our festive day, bringing joy and warmth to everyone present.
Heartfelt thanks to our sisterhood for the great variety of delicious and exquisite dishes, as well as for beautifully arranging the meal. Your talent and diligence created an atmosphere of family comfort and joy.
We also express our gratitude to the head of the parish information department for organizing the live broadcast of the Divine Liturgy on social media. Through your work, many people who could not attend in person were able to join our communal prayer.
We thank the church florist for decorating the House of God for the feast.
We extend our gratitude to all parishioners and benefactors whose donations helped make this celebration possible.
Special thanks to the Bazilyuk family, Serhiy and Tetyana, for their significant contribution to the festivities.
May the Lord reward all of you a hundredfold for your love and labor in the name of His glory.
With prayer and blessings,
Rev. Volodymyr Kovalchuk
Rector of the Ukrainian Orthodox Parish of St. Nicholas in Chicago, USA
